Green Ambassadors Program
The Green Ambassador initiative in St. Maarten is a student-led movement committed to fostering environmental awareness and sustainable practices within our school community. With a focus on reducing waste, promoting recycling, and embracing eco-friendly habits, our goal is to empower students to become environmental stewards. Through engaging activities, informative campaigns, and collaborative projects, we aim to inspire a culture of responsibility and respect for the unique ecosystems of St. Maarten, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for our island.
An in-school waste management Green Ambassador is a student who takes on a leadership role in promoting and implementing environmentally friendly waste management practices within their school community. This individual serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and the administration to create awareness and drive initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable and eco-friendly school environment.
