The Founder
Founded by Claude Javois in June 2018, Green Dream Projects has played a pivotal role in promoting environmental education and driving impactful initiatives throughout St. Maarten. Building on this success, the Green Dream Projects Foundation was launched in June 2024 to strengthen and broaden its support for schools across the island.

To date, over 20 schools have proudly joined this distinguished program, exemplifying a strong dedication to sustainability and the promotion of green practices.
In the wake of Hurricane Irma, Claude Javois committed himself to advancing environmental awareness through education. Drawing on his expertise in waste management, he launched the Green Ambassador initiative to inspire and empower students in environmental stewardship. Currently, participating schools collect plastic bottles and aluminum cans, with plans to include other recyclables in the future.

To ensure proper recycling, the collected materials are transported to a designated facility for further processing. This is to ensure proper waste management practices.
To support its efforts, Green Dream Projects has received sponsorship from UNESCO, as well as backing from both private and public entities—a significant achievement in advancing environmental education and action in St. Maarten.

United in purpose, Green Dream Projects, its partner schools, the community, as well as private and public businesses and foundations, are making a powerful impact—bringing St. Maarten closer to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future!
